Artist Interview
What medium do you work with, and why have you chosen them?

Oil and Watercolour. The abilities of both mediums provide a lovely spectrum of colours, tones and hues.

How does your artwork get from initial concept to exhibition stage?

A main subject or concept comes to mind from observation of surroundings, natural environment or topical news items that piques Liz's initial inspiration that forms the basis of the creation. Also drawing on classical artworks where the idea provides is another aspect to her artwork.

Can you tell us a little more about your creative working environment/studio?

Brushes, Brushes and more brushes. Plants on the window still, natural light and easels with paintings in various drying stages with of course a tray of shelves with lots of oil painting tubes ordered by colour.
