Artist Interview
What medium do you work with, and why have you chosen them?

I work with oil paint most of the time. I love its buttery texture and the vibrant, rich quality it brings to my work.

How does your artwork get from initial concept to exhibition stage?

I paint moments and objects from everyday life. Sometimes, I paint directly from life, other times, I take a photo of the moment and paint it later as a ritual to relive the experience of those precious objects, times, places, or special moments in life

Can you tell us a little more about your creative working environment/studio?

I have a weatherboard art studio at the back of my house, next to a huge palm tree. Whenever I step into my art studio, I feel like I am in another zone, and I often enjoy my time wandering around, working on different projects, and painting away.
