Artist Interview
What medium do you work with, and why have you chosen them?
I work with acrylic paints on raw natural linen, a medium that perfectly complements my expressive, abstract style. Acrylics allow me to build layers and create the bold colours that define my work, while the texture of natural linen adds an organic warmth and depth. I love how this combination feels authentic and timeless, reflecting my connection to nature.
How does your artwork get from initial concept to exhibition stage?
My process starts intuitively, often inspired by nature, emotion, or memory. I begin with a loose idea and let the painting evolve organically, layering colour, shape, and movement until it starts to tell a cohesive story. It’s always a balance between instinct and intention.
Can you tell us a little more about your creative working environment/studio?
My studio is in my back garden.
