Lee
Jade
Self-taught and passion-led, Lee creates bold, movement-driven paintings that capture the raw emotion of people doing what they love, and the animals that move alongside them.
Lee is a self-taught Australian artist whose work is rooted in boldness, movement, and emotion. She paints the things that stir something in us, the raw intensity of people in motion, the majesty of horses, and the deep connections that make us human. Drawn to the energy of those who pursue their passions, Lee brings that same wholehearted commitment to her work. Painting in acrylic, she uses a bold, limited palette to create work that is high contrast, emotionally charged, and made with nothing but joy.

Artist Interview
Tell us a bit about your story and how you came to be an artist
I am one of three girls, and growing up, creativity was just part of our world. Drawing was a pastime, a language we all shared, and in a household that encouraged that kind of expression, it never really felt like a choice, it just felt like who I was. Over time, what began as something I did for the pure joy of it grew into something I wanted to share, and ByLeeJade was born from exactly that place, a deep love of making, and a desire to bring others into it.
